Summary
On 1st March 2022, the rig tracked over a previously installed pile on which there was improperly compacted material which compacted further, causing the machine to lean forward. When the driver tried to correct the situation by reversing, the rig toppled forwards.
The mast of the rig has been cut off to aid recovery
Damage includes but may not necessary be limited to: Kelly Bar, Mast & Rams, Mast Lower Folding Section, Mast Extension, Mast Folding Unit, Mast Cathead, Kinematic Unit Boom Section Connection, Walkways & Ropes, Rope Winch, Pull Down Ropes, Cab Glass, Cab Flood Light. Please see the photos and videos for a visual indication of condition.
The unit starts & tracks and comes with parts as shown in the photographs. The parts were transported via 3 low loaders and a crane was required to unload. Crane can be provided to load for approx £850.
