***Seller Comments: The unit sustained exposure to water and rough handling damage on 08/11/2023. This unit is being sold as part of an insurance claim***
Generac Power Systems, Inc.'s Technical Services, the unit was affected by the improper loading and securing of the unit as stipulated by the instructions printed on the Bill of Lading. Moisture and/or rainwater would, not, in itself, prohibit the subject 3000A Transfer Switch from operating as intended as the unit is manufactured for use in exterior/outdoor environment. We conclude that moisture and/or rainwater would, not, in itself, prohibit the subject 3000A Transfer Switch from operating as intended as the unit is manufactured for use in exterior/outdoor environment. However, the metal cabinet is racked, and doors bent/misaligned as further instructions listed on the Bill of Lading that addressed securing was caused by the improper placement of straps over the top of the unit for OTR transport to Allentown, PA while the consignment was in the care, custody, and control of CRS Logistics. We determine that the unit is commensurate with a constructive total loss.
