Per Seller:
The goods available in this lot were abandoned with an ocean carrier in January 2008.  At the request of the carrier, a marine surveyor was asked to inspect the cargo.

Upon opening the container, the surveyor reported that the cargo consists of jute rugs of two different sizes - 2' x 8' and 8' x 11'.  All of the rugs appeared to be of the same style - 668 Santa Fe Natural.  The tags indicated that the rugs are for indoor or outdoor use.  Each rug was individually rolled up and tied with either jute or nylon strings and placed in clear plastic bags sealed with tape.

The surveyor noted a slight musty odor in the container along with the odor of jute rugs.  The surveyor tested several of the 2' x 8' rugs with a hand held moisture meter and the readings ranged from 16-18%.  One 2' x8' rug was unrolled and noted to be in apparent good condition with the exception of one small area with a black or dark spot in the jute fiber.

The bill of lading states that there were approximately 1,425 rolls in the container.  The size breakdown was not available on the bill of lading.
